Groviton Syrup 120ml — Nutritional Intelligence Tonic

Growth Promoting | Appetite Enhancing | Immune Boosting | Energy Restoring

Groviton Syrup is a premium herbal nutritional tonic formulated with a precise blend of ten clinically recognised botanical extracts. Designed for both children and adults, it addresses the root causes of fatigue, poor appetite, low immunity, and impaired concentration by delivering bioactive compounds that support cellular energy metabolism, neuroendocrine function, and immune modulation. Each 10ml dose provides a standardised matrix of adaptogenic, tonic, and carminative herbs working in synergy.

Ingredients

Each 10ml contains:

  • Phoenix dactylifera (Date Palm Extract) — 300mg
The highest-dosed ingredient in the formulation. Dates are rich in natural sugars (glucose, fructose, sucrose), dietary fibre, potassium, magnesium, and B-vitamins. Provides rapid and sustained energy release, supports haemoglobin synthesis, and contributes to overall nutritional repletion.
  • Emblica officinalis (Amla / Indian Gooseberry) — 200mg
One of the richest natural sources of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), with concentrations up to 20x that of oranges. Contains emblicanin A & B, punigluconin, and pedunculagin — potent antioxidant tannoids. Supports collagen synthesis, immune defence, and iron absorption.
  • Centella asiatica (Gotu Kola) — 60mg
Contains triterpenoid saponins: asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic acid, and madecassic acid. Clinically studied for cognitive enhancement, neuroprotection, and reduction of mental fatigue. Supports microcirculation in the brain.
  • Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha Root) — 60mg
Contains withanolides, withaferin A, and sitoindosides. One of the most extensively researched adaptogens in modern pharmacology. Modulates the HPA axis, reduces cortisol, and supports physical endurance and immune function.
  • Salvia haematodes (Meadow Clary) — 50mg
A member of the Lamiaceae family with documented antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Contains rosmarinic acid and salvianolic compounds that support cognitive clarity and reduce oxidative stress.
  • Centaurea behen (Safed Behman) — 50mg
A traditional Unani tonic herb used as a general strengthening agent (Muqawwi). Supports cardiac and nervous system vitality, and is indicated in classical Unani medicine for debility and convalescence.
  • Zingiber officinale (Ginger Root) — 50mg
Contains gingerols, shogaols, and zingerone. Well-documented carminative, anti-nausea, and digestive stimulant. Enhances bioavailability of co-administered herbs and supports appetite through gastric motility improvement.
  • Trigonella foenum-graecum (Fenugreek Seed) — 50mg
Contains 4-hydroxyisoleucine, trigonelline, and saponins. Clinically studied for appetite stimulation, blood glucose regulation, and anabolic support. Supports healthy weight gain in underweight individuals.
  • Piper longum (Long Pepper / Pippali) — 30mg
Contains piperine and piperlongumine. Acts as a bioenhancer, significantly increasing the absorption and bioavailability of co-formulated botanical actives. Also exhibits immunomodulatory and bronchodilatory properties.
  • Amomum subulatum (Black Cardamom) — 30mg
Contains 1,8-cineole, α-terpineol, and flavonoids. Carminative and digestive tonic; reduces nausea, supports respiratory health, and contributes to the palatability of the syrup formulation.

Benefits & Clinical Research

1. Energy Restoration & Relief from Fatigue

Phoenix dactylifera provides a dense nutritional matrix of natural sugars, B-vitamins, and minerals that directly replenish cellular energy stores. A study in the Journal of Nutritional Science and Vitaminology (Al-Shahib & Marshall, 2003) documented dates' exceptional nutritional profile and their role in combating physical fatigue and nutritional deficiency. Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) further addresses fatigue at the neuroendocrine level — a double-blind RCT published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (Wankhede et al., 2015) demonstrated significant improvements in muscle recovery, VO₂ max, and self-reported energy levels in adults supplementing with Withania extract over 8 weeks.

2. Appetite Stimulation & Growth Promotion

Trigonella foenum-graecum (Fenugreek) has been clinically validated as an appetite stimulant. A randomised controlled trial published in the Journal of Sports Science & Medicine (Poole et al., 2010) found fenugreek supplementation significantly increased caloric intake and supported lean mass gain. Zingiber officinale enhances gastric motility and stimulates appetite via the motilin receptor pathway, as documented in Alimentary Pharmacology & Therapeutics (Hu et al., 2011). Together, these herbs address Aruchi (anorexia/loss of appetite) in both children and adults.

3. Immune System Enhancement

Emblica officinalis is the cornerstone of immune support in this formulation. Its emblicanin tannoids exhibit potent free-radical scavenging activity, with an ORAC value exceeding most commercial antioxidants. A clinical study in Phytotherapy Research (Srikumar et al., 2007) demonstrated significant enhancement of NK cell activity and lymphocyte proliferation following Amla supplementation. Withania somnifera further modulates innate immunity — a meta-analysis in PLOS ONE (Pratte et al., 2014) confirmed its immunostimulatory effects, including increased immunoglobulin production and macrophage activation.

4. Cognitive Function & Concentration

Centella asiatica is the primary nootropic agent in Groviton. A double-blind, placebo-controlled study published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology (Wattanathorn et al., 2008) found that Centella asiatica supplementation significantly improved working memory, attention, and processing speed in healthy adults. Its triterpenoid saponins promote axonal growth and synaptic plasticity. Salvia haematodes contributes complementary neuroprotective activity via rosmarinic acid's inhibition of acetylcholinesterase, supporting sustained mental clarity.

5. Bioavailability Enhancement

Piper longum (Pippali) serves a critical pharmacokinetic role in this formulation. Piperine — its principal alkaloid — has been shown to increase the bioavailability of co-administered botanical compounds by 30–200% through inhibition of intestinal glucuronidation and P-glycoprotein efflux (Shoba et al., Planta Medica, 1998). This ensures that all active constituents in Groviton are absorbed at clinically meaningful concentrations.

6. Digestive Comfort & Carminative Support

Zingiber officinale, Amomum subulatum, and Piper longum collectively provide carminative, antispasmodic, and prokinetic activity. Ginger's anti-nausea efficacy is among the most robustly evidenced of any herbal agent, with a Cochrane-reviewed meta-analysis confirming its superiority over placebo for nausea reduction across multiple clinical contexts. This digestive support ensures the tonic is well-tolerated, particularly in children and individuals with sensitive digestion.
