Lichensa Ointment is used for Eczema, Fungal infections of toes, back pain, dry skin, cracked skin, diaper dermatitis and other conditions. It is used to treat various skin conditions; reducing pain and delayed onset muscle soreness. Used for crack on heels, dhobis Itch, napkin rash, infection between toes and fingers, diaper rash (Adult and Children), bed sores, boils, nail Infection.

Lichensa Ointment is a combination of Boric Acid, Clotrimazole, Zinc Oxide, and Menthol.

It is also used to treat boils, bedsores, cracks on the heels, jock itch (a fungal infection that causes a red and itchy rash in warm and moist areas of the body), and diaper rash. Lichensa Ointment may cause side effects like burning sensation, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. However, these side effects are temporary and resolve with time. Before you start using this ointment, perform a patch test by applying it to a small area on your skin to know how your skin will react to it. Discontinue the use if you experience excessive itching, irritation, or swelling. Lichensa Ointment is recommended for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area before applying this medication. To see the effects of this medicine, use it regularly as advised by your doctor. If you discontinue this medicine early, it may increase the risk of further infection that would be difficult to treat. Dosage

Missed Dose
Apply the missed dose of Lichensa Ointment as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

Overdose

An overdose of Lichensa Ointment is not likely to cause severe symptoms unless it is applied for a prolonged period in large quantities. However, ingestion of this medicine may cause harm and immediate medical intervention may be required.
 
Apply a thin layer of Lichensa Ointment to the affected areas of the skin as instructed by your doctor. Follow all the usage instructions mentioned on the label or the package insert. Do not apply in larger or smaller quantities than recommended. Do not cover the application area with bandages or other coverings unless specifically instructed by your doctor.
