Jawarish Mastagi is beneficial in indigestion and loss of appetite. Jawarish Mastagi excretes the gas and also helpful in abdominal distention. It relives spasmodic pain and flatulence.

Ingredients of Hamdard Jawarish Mastagi

• Mastagi Roomi : Mastic gum (also called Mastagi Roomi) is plant resin (sap) from the trunk of Pistacia Lentiscus. In Ayurveda and Unani medicine, it is widely used for its ulcer healing, antispasmodic and aphrodisiac action. It reduces menstrual pains and muscular pains. It is useful for the treatment of heartburn, gastritis, ulcers and indigestion. Mastic Gum provides strength to the stomach and intestines. It makes a protective layer on the linings of the stomach, which protects from hyperacidity. Appetite stimulant action increases appetite. Carminative action provides relief from flatulence and abdominal distension.
• Arq Gulab : It's believed to have numerous medicinal benefits and has been used as an analgesic, bronchodilator,anti-convulsive, anti-microbial and as an anti-inflammatory. It's also been used as cough syrup, to treat reflux, as a laxative, and to reduce blood sugar.

Dosage of Hamdard Jawarish Mastagi

• 5 – 10 Grams to be taken in the morning with arq badyan or water only.
